ABOUT THE WORK:
My paintings blend abstraction and figuration, using bold brushwork, layered textures, and vibrant colors. I explore the human figure by breaking it down and piecing it back together through fragmented shapes and expressive marks. Geometric and organic elements help me explore space, memory, and perception, creating a sense of movement where figures seem to appear and disappear into their surroundings.
My work captures human presence and emotion while inviting viewers to find their own meaning in the play between perspective and surface. I am not as interested in the literal objects in the scenes I create, but in creating energy through shape and color where there isn’t any, this is where I’m most happy.
