Photography Workshop

iPhone Photography Teen Workshop | Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Snowmass Village, Colorado

Learn how to produce images that capture the imagination with the supercomputer in your pocket: the Apple iPhone. This week long workshop explores the possibilities of “iPhonography.” The iPhone has become one of the most ubiquitous, innovative and playful photographic tools in our daily experience; however, this powerful device is capable of so much more. With the ever-widening array of creative applications and an emerging practice of photographic interventions, the iPhone has also become a uniquely powerful and self-contained editing tool. Students explore how to make the most out of camera settings and learn some of the latest and more established applications to unleash the breathtaking potential of our images. Following the completion of the week long workshop, students completed an on-campus exhibition of their work which was open to the public.

Museum Teaching

Collaboration with University of Arizona| Phoenix Art Museum

Art is used in the curriculum at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix to help medical students sharpen their skills in observation and description, foster critical thinking, and improve communication skills. Medical students are challenged to explore the range of human emotion and perception of the world as conveyed visually. Through partnership with the Phoenix Art Museum during 2022-2024, Tiffany led opportunities for structured observation of artworks and discussion of fine arts concepts with the goal of improving visual diagnostic skills and communication skills to ultimately enhance patient care.
